Growing up in a remote village in Kazakhstan, far removed from the fast-moving technological changes of the 1970s and ’80s, I developed a deep appreciation for the natural world from an early age. Surrounded by mountains and endless steppe landscapes, some of my fondest childhood memories are of listening to the gentle flow of a nearby stream and admiring the small yellow flowers that grew along its banks. I spent countless hours climbing trees and finding peaceful hideaways beneath the broad leaves in my grandmother’s garden, fully immersed in the beauty of nature.

Later, I spent several years in Germany, where I grew to love its expansive forests, wildflower meadows and rolling countryside. My journey eventually brought me to England, where I graduated with merit from the prestigious Inchbald School of Design, refining my expertise in landscape and garden design.

Today, as a garden designer in St Albans, I create outdoor spaces that work in harmony with their surroundings. My aim is to design gardens that provide a sense of balance, tranquillity and connection to nature, offering a welcome retreat from the demands of everyday life, regardless of the garden’s size.
